Adaptogens help the body adapt to and overcome stress, both mental and physical. They promote healing and support all the body’s vital systems, including the nervous system, endocrine system and immune system. Basically they are the most functional ingredients you could hope for and they are ultimately beneficial when you take small amounts regularly. Learn more about each of the adaptogens we use below.

Lions Mane

Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a beautiful mushroom appearing as a white waterfall cascading down trees and logs. Used in the Orient for thousands of years, it is said to give one “nerves of steel and the mind of a lion,” known as a brain tonic supporting nervous system health.

Coffee

Thanks to its high levels of antioxidants and beneficial nutrients, moderate coffee consumption can be healthy.
Caffeine blocks an inhibitory neurotransmitter in your brain, which causes a stimulant effect. This improves energy levels, mood and various aspects of brain function. Caffeine can increase adrenaline levels and release fatty acids from your fat tissues. It also leads to significant improvements in physical performance.

Chaga

Chaga is dense and dark fungi growing on tree trunks. It is an anti-ageing, immunity-boosting powerhouse, packed full of beta-glucans, adaptogenic betulinic acid, high levels of antioxidants and skin-protecting melanin. L-theanine

L-theanine is an amino acid found primarily in green tea. Most commonly known for helping people relax, L-theanine has other potential health benefits, including: anxiety and stress relief, improved function of the immune system, improved blood pressure, and L-theanine has even been associated with amplifying the anti-tumor effects of certain chemotherapy drugs.

Paired with caffeine, L-theanine may help increase focus and attention. It's a super food, which is why we use L-theanine in all our drinks, so you get the benefits no matter which coffee you prefer.
